Design process begins with Identifying robot constraints and priorities:
Scoring L1-L4 and de-algae scoring to maximize RP
Mechanisms designed for cycling (eg. wide intake, vision alignment)
Robustness + flexibility to withstand impacts and ensure reliability
Maximum simplicity to allow for easy repairs and replacement
Designs are created intentionally for intense testing and iteration
Tests are documented and success/failure points are recorded and built upon for the next iteration
Failure points are identified proactively and when possible, chosen
